Title: Girl Online

Stars (mine): 4.5/5

Stars (Scholastic average rating): 5/5

I have this dream that, secretly, all teenage girls feel exactly like me. And maybe one day, when we realize that we all feel the same, we can all stop pretending we’re something we’re not… But until that day, I’m going to keep it real on this blog and keep it unreal in real life.

Penny has a secret.

Under the alias Girl Online, Penny blogs her hidden feelings about friendship, boys, high school drama, her crazy family, and the panic attacks that have begun to take over her life. When things go from bad to worse, her family whisks her away to New York, where she meets Noah, a gorgeous, guitar-strumming American. Suddenly Penny is falling in love – and capturing every moment of it on her blog.

But Noah has a secret, too, one that threatens to ruin Penny’s cover – and her closest friendship – forever.

This is amazing. 5 stars (not 4.5 as stated before)

The First In A Series

Lizzizzizzzima, who is my sister, seventeen years older than me, my official guardian and my spy boss opened the door of my room and saw me browsing the internet on my phone. “Kat!” called Lizzizzizzzima, “Come into the hangout room. I have rather important news!”

My name isn’t just Kat. It’s actually Katarina Montfort Le Farant which is a ridiculous name and an absolute mouthful but I’m still really glad that my name isn’t Lizzizzizzzima Montfort Le Farant like my sister’s. Because we both have long names we made a vow that we would always call each other Liz and Kat and have never broken it (except for those three times in this text you are reading now). So anyway, me and Liz walked along the long, long, long corridors of the underground spy agency that we live in, entered the hangout room and sat down. Liz then explained to me what she was so desperate to talk to me about.

“Well you know how I put an ad on in November about more kids joining the agency,” Liz said and I nodded, “well the spying talent scouts from the next district have replied and so if you are okay with it, next week five other children will join our agency! So are you okay with this?”

I told her this was the best news I had had in a while and that I would really like this.

“Ok,” said Liz, “I will phone them about it!”

I will post more of this series another day. Please comment any title ideas ♥

A massive annoucement

Seen the new name? If not look at the title header NOW and you will see what I am talking about ♥

As well as the blog name, another big change being made on the now named A Unicorn With A Blog is the post topic. Instead of random the post topic will be stories and plays!

I am working on a new header, background and blog button because of this……………………

You may know about a separate writing blog I started but I will not continue posting on that but will not delete it so you can see those 2 posts ♥

I’ll be back soon (probably Thursday) for another post 🙂

I will also be posting book reviews and have recently read Girl Online by Zoe Sugg, Insurgent by Veronica Roth and A Series Of Unfortunate Events: The Reptile Room by Lemony Snicket and am currently reading Impossible! by Michelle Mangorian which is really good so far so please tell me in the comments if you would like me to review any of these.

I will probably post on:

And maybe on:

Emily xxx ❤ 🙂 XD ♥

First lets explain how this works:

For every week the MLAAPTD writing challange 2015 is happening, on Saturday I will post a topic. Everyone who is participating posts on their blog a story, poem, play script, screenplay, comic or something else and links to it in the comments. They also link up sometime between Saturday 9:00 am and the following Saturday 9:00am (GMT). Please try and promote this………………………

The topic for this week is comedy

P.S You don’t have to have taken part on a previous week to take part on this one (an important rule even though there hasn’t been any previous weeks yet)

I’m currently loving

Today I thought I’d share with you three blogs that I am obsessed with at the moment and why.

A Little Bit Of Sunshine– I have always liked this blog but at the moment the posts are just `indescribably amazing’. She is posting all of these stories which are really great and I am hoping that she becomes a famous author as stated that she hopes on her about page.

Almost Completely Mad– I found this blog on BBK and I really liked the funny and almost completely mad style of writing. I like this blog because of the totally random post topics as well.

Another Teen On The Web– I stumbled apon this blog while comment surfing and laughed my head off at the humour in some of the posts. The anonymous blogger going by the nickname of Another Teen’s blog is strongly recommended to lovers of funny blog posts by me.
